At Tazgha House, we provide a fully managed, distraction-free environment designed for families wellness practitioners, instructors, and groups to thrive. These guidelines ensure the safety, comfort, and peace of all our guests, our staff, and the surrounding community.

Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM

This schedule allows our team to thoroughly clean, restock, and prepare the villa to our high standards for your arrival. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged upon request, subject to availability.

A Dry, Focused Environment

Tazgha House is a strictly dry property. Alcohol is neither sold nor permitted to be consumed on the premises. This policy ensures a safe, grounded, and distraction-free environment for all our guests, particularly wellness and youth groups.

Pool & Beach Safety

No swimming after 6:00 PM: For safety and supervision reasons, the pool is closed in the evening.
Pool Maintenance: Pool cleaning usually happens after 6:00 PM daily.
Safety Notice: There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
Local Area: The nearest surf beach is Bebhira Beach, which features a small, traditional fishing port. The nearest town for additional supplies is Aqarmoud.

Please exercise caution when walking to or swimming at the beach, as Atlantic currents can be strong. We recommend always swimming with a buddy.

Quiet Hours & Community Respect

To respect our neighbors and the local coastal wildlife, no large events, parties, or amplified music (including Oud or other instruments) are permitted on the property.

We kindly ask that quiet hours be observed strictly from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure everyone enjoys a restful retreat.

Common Sense & Community Guidelines

To maintain the quality and safety of our shared space, we ask all guests to observe the following:

Accessibility First: Please keep all pathways, ramps, and zero-step pool access areas completely clear of personal belongings, yoga mats, or training equipment to ensure safe navigation for everyone.
Shoes Indoors: To maintain a clean and serene environment, please remove outdoor shoes before entering the main villa living spaces.
Wildlife & Environment: We share this space with local wildlife. Please do not feed or disturb animals, and dispose of all trash in designated bins to protect the marine and terrestrial ecosystem.
Guest Registration: For security and insurance purposes, all individuals staying at the villa must be registered at check-in. Unauthorized visitors are not permitted on the premises.
Damage & Breakage: While we understand accidents happen, please report any damage or breakage to our 24/7 support team immediately so it can be addressed safely and promptly.

By booking your stay or participating in our retreat experiences, you agree to the following policies.

Terms and Conditions (Effective: January 2025)

Overview: Tazgha House is a private group holiday retreat in Essaouira, Morocco, offering immersive, restorative getaways for families, friend groups, and small collectives.
Eligibility: Open to private groups. All guests must be registered. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Booking & Payment: Reservations are confirmed only upon full payment. Minimum stay of 3 nights for group bookings. All payments are non-refundable unless covered by the cancellation policy.
Cancellation & Refunds: Cancellations made 14+ days before arrival receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable. Tazgha reserves the right to cancel due to safety/emergencies, offering a full refund or credit.
Code of Conduct: Respect for fellow guests, staff, and local neighbors is essential. Disruptive or unsafe conduct may result in immediate eviction without refund.
Health, Safety & Pool Use: Inform us of medical conditions/allergies in advance. The pool is unsupervised (no lifeguard). Children must be directly supervised by an adult at all times. Running, diving, or rough play is strictly prohibited.
Travel & Insurance: Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements and must carry personal travel and health insurance.
Intellectual Property: All photos, descriptions, and materials are the property of Tazgha and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of Liability: Tazgha House is not liable for personal injury, property loss, or damages occurring during your stay or related travel.
Changes to Terms: We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Information We Collect: Names, contact details, group composition, guest preferences (dietary, accessibility), secure payment information, and communications.
How We Use Your Data: To manage bookings, ensure safety/comfort, share essential updates, and comply with legal requirements.
Data Sharing: We do not sell or rent your data. Information is shared only with on-site staff, secure service providers (e.g., payment processors), or authorities if legally required.
Cookies & Analytics: Our website uses cookies to improve user experience. You may disable them via your browser settings.
Data Security & Your Rights: We implement reasonable safeguards. You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data, or opt out of non-essential communications by contacting us.

📘 Pool User Manual & Waiver

By using the pool at Tazgha House, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Inform us of any relevant health conditions before arrival.
Adult supervision is mandatory for all children near or in the pool.
No lifeguard on duty.
No running, diving, or horseplay in the pool area.

Legal Disclaimer: Use of the pool is at your own risk. By entering the pool area, you voluntarily assume all associated risks. Tazgha House and its owners are not liable for injuries, accidents, or incidents related to pool use. Your use of the pool constitutes full acceptance of this waiver.

📄 Short-Term Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver

Property: Tazgha House, Essaouira, Morocco

Rental Period: Check-In and Check-Out dates/times to be confirmed upon booking. Minimum 3 nights for groups.
Security Deposit: A refundable deposit is required and returned within 7 days if no damages occur.
House Rules: No smoking indoors. Maximum occupancy: 24 guests. Respect quiet hours (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Adhere to all pool safety guidelines.
Waiver of Liability: Guests agree that Tazgha House and its owners are not liable for injury, loss, or damage during the stay. Use of the property, beach, and pool is at your own risk.
Indemnity: Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tazgha House from any claims arising from their stay.
Cancellation Policy: Governed by Section 4 of the Tazgha House Terms & Conditions (14+ days for 50% refund; non-refundable within 14 days).
Jurisdiction: This agreement is governed by Moroccan law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Essaouira.

Note: A formal, signed copy of this agreement will be provided to the designated Group Representative upon booking confirmation.
